元々ハンドメイドでアンプを製作してるARACOM社が製作してるアッテネーターです。
メーカー直販のみで流通数が少ないので、国内にはほとんど入ってきていませんが、数あるアッテネーターの中でも最も音質が素晴らしいと言われています。
通常アッテネーターは音量はそこそこ下がるものの、ゲインの量が変ってしまったり「こもった」ような音になってしまう物が多いのですが、ARACOMのアッテネーターは基本の音は変えずに自然に音量を下げてくれます。
またインプットとアウトプットのインピーダンスを2Ω・4Ω・8Ω・16Ωと個別に設定が出来ますので、ヘッドが8Ωでフェンダー系の4Ωのキャビでもインプットを8Ωアウトプットを4Ωと設定すれば使用可能となります。
ラインアウトもありますので、宅録にもお手持ちのアンプを使用する事が出来ます。
